The piece explored a number of issues emerging out of the 50th anniversary of independence for south asia. The piece used a magazine format to profile historical information, contemporary perspectives and esoteric responses to notions of independence.

The piece was originally shown at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, but has since toured to other venues, including the Harris Museum and Gallery in Preston, Street Level in Glasgow and a number of community venues in the Manchester area.
